I am a senior this year and I am taking Intro to Vision Arts. Intro to Visual Arts is a class the introduces you to the many of the types of visual arts. For one of our projects, we made a ceramic bowl and put a quote or saying in the bowl. We cut out the shape of the bowl on a slab of clay and then had to connect the sides together to make it an actual bowl. We then stamped a quote into it. I choose to do a quote from Mr. Schoettlin who is my Ethnic teacher (my religion teacher). I choose his quote “You are going to be influenced” but that was too long so I just stamped “yagtbi” which is the first let of each word. I enjoyed this project because I felt that the quote gave me the ability to personalize it and make it very meaningful.
